pretty pathetic that they gave away over 5.5 hours of music in high bit rate (320 kbps) .mp3 of vault material yet people were still bitching.

How come we got two Sugar Mags and no Scarlet>Fire or TOO?

Why so many Bobby tunes? (i think there were actually more Jerry tunes)

Why no Brent tunes? (okay, i made that one up, or at least i never saw that comment, although it wouldn't shock me)

wah wah wah

nouveau deadhead's mantra.....

Well I feel like snappin'
Pistol in your face
I'm gonna let some graveyard
Lord be your resting place
Woman I'm troubled, I be all worried in mind
Well baby I can never be satisfied
And I just can't keep from cryin'

it would be too damned easy just to say, "Thank you" to both Rhino and GDP

and any expression of gratitude would deny their entitlement

BTW, I downloaded them all and have thoroughly enjoyed the cuts I've had time to listen to

Thanks Rhino and GDP

Get heart centered .
Oh no , I have only 10 seconds ....

Thank-you Rhino and GDP .

Just brilliant! A generous offer, a fun idea for a competition, some nice choices, and excellent sound quality. Many thanks to GD, Rhino and people such as Canyon Critter for links and artwork.

Everyone should grab these while they're available - it won't be for much longer. If you burn them to CD be sure to check levels and do a bit of normalising/equalising. I've made 6 CDs, filler for the last two being culled from bonus disks etc for some of "the ones that got away" (e.g. Attics, The Other One, Scarlet>Fire) and some covers (Morning Dew, Dancin').

I'm really surprised that the 12/28/70 Cold Rain & Snow was one of the songs in this collection that I actually recommended in a thread last year. It was kind of a stab in the dark by me at the time though.
